Lisa Marker-Robbins,
Founder/CEO
Lisa’s passion is working with college bound students and their families.
Eight years teaching experience at the junior high and high school levels, her bachelor’s degree in education and her master’s in educational administration, all provide an excellent foundation to help students academically catch-up, maintain success and excel while navigating the college process.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC), National College Advocacy Group (NCAG) and the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors as an Independent College Counselor and owner/CEO of LEAP since 1999. She is also a Birkman Master Certified Consultant; this is a level which fewer than 4% of Birkman consultants achieve.
Lisa’s expertise in learning and college guidance has benefited countless families throughout the United States. She has developed programs to maximize student performance for getting into college and guiding students to the best-fit college, major and future career.
Lisa actively pursues life in Greater Cincinnati with her husband and five adult children. Fun Fact: Saturday mornings spring through fall you'll usually find her with hands in the dirt making their family backyard an oasis.
Lauren Bertz,
Operations, Billing, & Development
Lauren Bertz thrives in the role of all things operations, systems, development, and setting things up so the families we serve can have a successful experience. She is an important member of our LEAP team.
Lauren came to us with a long history in education, first as a teacher where she continues to serve in secondary mathematics. Lauren is living her best life in suburban Cincinnati as a wife and mom of two elementary aged sons.
Tracy Eads,
Client Relationship Manager
Tracy Eads is LEAP’s Client Relationship Manager. She is typically the first LEAP team member a family meets as they engage with us. She's here to help families figure out the LEAP solution to their college-bound overwhelm before turning them over to other team members to fulfill their needs.
Tracy loves education and helping others. She came to LEAP first as a client with her oldest of 4 boys who is graduating college. Professionally, Tracy has been a teacher and college instructor! She lives in Ross, Ohio, with her husband and teenage and young adult sons. When not connecting with LEAP clients, you'll find her volunteering at their local high school or watching her own sons in their activities.
Fun Fact: Tracy started her professional career as a geologist which is what she taught at Miami University.
Amy Peters,
Instructional Administrator
Amy Peter’s role as Instructional Administrator is to assist our 1:1 tutoring clients with all things related to their scheduling as well as administrative support to the LEAP team. She loves solving the puzzle of making a schedule that works for the families we serve as well as what openings we have. While others view that as a pain, she views it as fun!
She came to us from a role of serving the executive pastor as his executive assistant. Amy lives in Essex Junction, Vermont with her husband and two elementary-aged sons.
Fun Fact: In her free time, Amy has a passion for the arts. She has impressive artistic talents and is lead vocalist in a band!
Christie O’Hare,
Administrative Assistant
Christie O’Hare is LEAP’s Administrative Assistant, specializing in our IT systems that make our company systems run. She also is our Client Relations Specialist on LEAP’s secondary brand, Flourish Coaching.
She came to us from being a high school teacher and started with LEAP in 2011 as a tutor and instructor. She lives in the Greater Cincinnati area with her husband and five kids, a dog, and a cat. Life is busy!
Fun Fact: Christie once skydived over the Swiss Alps.
